The NOC, one of YouTube's new partner sports networks. I wanted to pass along a feature we just produced about Minnesota Viking Jared Allen's work for disabled veterans. Jared's annual "Night Ops Golf" event is far from a typical charity golf tournament; complete with a giant slip n' slide, glow-in-the-dark golf balls, and drill sergeants, it's not your average 18 holes. And, as this piece reminds us, Jared is not your average philanthropist. His charity, Homes 4 Wounded Warriors, helps to make the homes of returning wounded veterans handicap accessible. As one of the recipient veterans, Joshua Bullis, makes clear, Jared is as involved and engaged in the charity's work as he is in the action on-the-field.
